You create and track operations, manage contracts and pricing, coordinate logistics, handle invoicing, and monitor margins — all from a single platform. These features help trading teams replace fragmented spreadsheets and email chains with structured, connected workflows.

Jules is designed for progressive adoption. Start with operations and contracts, then activate logistics, invoicing, and margin modules as your workflows require.

Key Features Overview

Trade Lifecycle Management

Every trade in Jules is represented by an operation — the central entity that connects commercial terms, logistics, and financials. Operations follow a structured lifecycle with built-in approval workflows.

Create Operation

Create from a contract or directly. Define counterparty, qualities, quantities, and pricing.

Submit for Approval

Route the operation through your organization's approval chain with role-based permissions.

Load Containers

Add containers with weights, qualities, and loading details — or manage bulk stockpiles for local trades.

Book & Ship

Create freight bookings, assign shipping lines, and track shipments to destination.

Invoice & Settle

Generate invoices from container lines, reconcile payments, and close the trade.

Operations support two market modes: Export (international containerized shipments) and Local (domestic bulk deliveries). The mode determines which logistics flows and margin calculations apply.

Contracts and Pricing

Define commercial agreements that prefill operations automatically. Contracts capture counterparty terms, quality streams, price formulas, and delivery schedules — reducing manual data entry and ensuring consistency.

Set a fixed price per metric ton at contract creation. Ideal for spot deals and short-term agreements.

Invoicing and Billing

Generate invoices directly from operation data. Container weights, pricing, and terms flow automatically into invoice lines — eliminating manual calculations and reducing errors.

Margin Analytics

Track profitability in real time across every level of your trading portfolio. Jules calculates margins automatically from operation data, freight costs, hedging positions, and unexpected costs.
